Housekeeping Supervisor [United Arab Emirates]


 

1. Thoroughly clean your area to the required specification, as directed, using correct
techniques and cleaning equipment.
2. Working safely using correct warning signs, protective clothing and safety equipment,
being aware of hazards to other staff and pupils. Compliance with Health and Safety
practice's of the site.
3. Undertake training in use of methods, materials and equipment, as instigated by the
Cleaning Manager.
4. Reporting immediately any defects of equipment, furniture and fittings, including
electrical and gas appliances.
5. Ensuring that areas are properly secured when moving around the site and any breaches
of security are reported.
6. Collect cleaning materials from Cleaning Office as required and inform Cleaning Manager
if supplies are running low.
7. Deputising, in the absence of the Cleaning Manager to help maintain an efficient team.
8. Contribute to the supervision, training and development of the Cleaning staff in order to
support Department objectives.
9. Maintain good working relationships with all staff. Encourage and motivate staff to
achieve high standards of work.
10. Remain up to date with school and department policies so you can communicate these
when staff request information.
11. Any other task, as directed by the Cleaning Manager or Senior Staff, commensurate with
the role.
