Job Summary:

We are actively recruiting for multiple Operations Support Specialists to bolster our operations teams across several North American locations. This pivotal role necessitates overseeing operations across various regions, supervising data-centric tasks, and refining standard operating procedures to ensure streamlined and consistent operations. In pursuit of maintaining our superior service standards, this role requires up to 90% travel to furnish on-site support and leadership to our local operations teams throughout the United States.

The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional in the warehouse and logistics industry, adept at enhancing operational efficiency, analysing data, implementing cutting-edge systems and procedures, and leading teams towards strict compliance with standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver extensive operational support in the logistics field, championing the identification and implementation of improvement initiatives.
  • Formulate, oversee, and ensure the accuracy and consistency of data tracking systems and templates.
  • Utilise data analysis skills to focus on key metrics and trends, identifying challenges and potential areas for process enhancement.
  • Cultivate productive collaborations with personnel across different levels and departments to drive operational enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures through the implementation of proficient management practices and team leadership.
  • Scrutinise and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), leveraging data-driven insights to guide changes and ascertain their effectiveness.
  • Organise and lead training sessions to effectively disseminate the usage of new SOPs, automation tools, and data management systems.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in the warehouse and logistics industry.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education.
  • Valid driver's license in Canada or the United States.
  • Proficient in English speaking; Mandarin is an asset.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the capacity to effectively manage unexpected situations.
  • Solid planning, management, and coordination skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations, including the Microsoft Office suite, coupled with strong data analysis skills.
  • Familiarity with process standardization, automation, and SOP optimization.
  • Proficiency in the use of automation tools and data management systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with process standardization, automation, and SOP optimization.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00-$78,000.00 per year
