Within Manuchar’s Chemicals business, the Global Business Development Team Pharma at headquarters focusses on expanding sales and services for the pharmaceutical industry in more than 10 countries worldwide.

Your main responsibilities are:
- You will gradually become responsible for the commercial support to the Pharma colleagues and regional team.
- You will handle requests from customers and affiliates of Manuchar, draw up offers and follow-up quotations with all stakeholders till closing the deal.
- You communicate proactively with the customers and affiliate companies. Next to the contact with external partners, you are in close contact with your Pharma colleagues.
- You actively go to the market to find and compare new suppliers in case of new products.
- You will be compiling import stats for the addressable markets.
- You optimise the quotation handling process, which will have a positive impact on efficiency and productivity.
- You process the technical information and certificates in a structured way that is accessible to your colleagues.
Your profile
- A relevant working experience in a commercial or logistics environment is desired. Knowledge of Incoterms, letter of credit and trade or transportation documents are a strong asset.
- You have preferably obtained a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a logistics or economics.
- You are fluent in English and knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is nicely taken.
- You are an organized individual with a talent for administration, even under time pressure. Colleagues appreciate your sense of initiative, flexibility and teamwork.
- You have a commercial mindset, and your goal is to set up solid commercial support. You can keep a good general overview from a commercial administrative point of view.
