Analyst – Property Finance

• Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland
• Full time, Permanent position
• Mixture of office and home (3 days in office, 2 WFH)

Mō te tūranga | About the Role

Working as part of a team of Analysts, you will provide credit and financial analytical expertise on a portfolio of Property Finance accounts. You will demonstrate in depth knowledge and understanding of the Property Finance customers, their business, and their industry providing effective complex deal support through accurate and thorough analysis.

You will complete accurate, concise, and well thought through credit submissions on complex deals whilst undertaking dynamic risk management of the portfolio incorporating accurate and timely monitoring of triggers, covenants, completion of periodic risk reviews and continuous risk monitoring within policy timeframes and standards.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?

• A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Property related field.
• Experience in commercial property leases and registered valuations.
• Experience working in the NZ Property industry (e.g., property valuation and property management) will be highly regarded.
• Knowledge of banking products and the New Zealand market is a must.
• Specific Property Finance industry knowledge and commercial understanding of New Zealand’s business and economic environment.
• Experience working in a Big 4 Chartered Accounting environment will be highly regarded.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and credit risk.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of legal documentation.
• Proven experience in coaching and mentoring team members.
