Job Title: CCTV & Repair Technician
Department: Installer Service Delivery Field Engineer
Reports to: Operations Manager
Location: Ballingly Enterprise Centre, Wellingtonbridge, County Wexford.
KEY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
CCTV Installations, repair, and service work.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this position you will be responsible for:
Installation of CCTV Equipment for Business & Residential customers.
Must be willing to learn, and take on, all other aspects of our business, and all services that we provide.
Liaising with our Network Operations department as well as the customer directly to schedule Jobs & ensure on time completion of projects, planned works and scheduled maintenance.
Whilst the role is Wexford based there will be requirements for regional cover for field engineering work.
Upon satisfactory completion of six months’ probation, you will then be trained in all other aspects of the business, with the objective of your being able to install and service any of the products and services we provide to our customers.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE (KEY COMPETENCIES)
It is essential that you have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Field Engineer in CCTV, ideally with the relevant qualifications.
- Familiarity with working in Comms Rooms/Exchanges.
- Competency handling Fiber, CAT5, CAT6 and AC/DC power.
- Basic/Intermediate knowledge of networking technologies and protocols.
- Experience in network installations an advantage.
- Experience in TV, Satellite, and Broadband an advantage.
- Strong communications and PC skills.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- A Full Clean Driving license, with your own transport but not essential as company van can be provided if required for the correct candidate.
- Safe Pass and the ability to work unrestricted in Ireland.
- Some Roof Work, Ladder Work & working at heights is required at times.
