Senior Accountant - Your responsibilities:
As a Senior SOPARFI Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing the financial aspects of our company's operations. Your expertise will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and support strategic decision-making. You'll be responsible for:
- Handling the complete accounting cycle for SOPARFI entities, including financial statement preparation, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial information and provide valuable insights for business planning.
- Performing financial analysis and preparing reports to assist in strategic decision-making.
- Participating in the development and implementation of accounting processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Providing guidance to junior team members and assisting in their professional development.
- Managing relationships with external auditors and ensuring successful audit processes.
Senior Accountant - Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
- At least 4 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on SOPARFI/Holding structures and Luxembourg accounting principles.
- Strong command of French and English (B2++), both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Prior experience in mentoring or supervising junior staff members is an advantage.
