We are looking for a Textile Merchandise Manager with 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
Job Roles:
a. Collaborate with SanMar USA, vendors and factories to ensure proper execution of merchandising plans, capacity planning, product development and order placement.
b. Manage costing and price negotiation with vendors ensuring margin expectations are met.
c. Proactively propose commercially viable product ideas to the product creation team in the USA.
d. Build, create, and maintain relationships with the supply chain in alignment with SanMar’s leadership team and the global sourcing strategy with the values and culture of SanMar.
e. Keep SanMar USA apprised of market, economic and political conditions in countries of production to mitigate risk or to improve margins.
f. Manage the day to day and follow up with the supply chain and SanMar US on product development, order placement, approvals, productions status, delivery, etc. ensuring the milestones on the Corporate Development calendar are met.
g. Work directly with the Merchandise Director and SanMar US cross-functional departments. (product development, sourcing, logistics, quality, color, technical department, etc.)
h. Knowledge of textile and apparel manufacturing.
