On behalf of our client, a US-based IT company with large clientele, we are currently looking for a talented Presales Solutions Architect, to join its IT team.
A day in the life of a “Presales Solutions Architect”
The Presales Engineer will leverage a broad knowledge of Microsoft and other technologies, offering technical information and insights into the company’s service offerings, tools and processes, to align client requirements with appropriate solutions and to facilitate a successful sales cycle.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic learner, an effective communicator, and a strong collaborator.

Your day-to-day
- Serve as an SME for the company’s technical solutions and services to senior business and technology stakeholders
- Understand the clients' requirements and provide solutions based on the company’s product life cycle framework
- Support presales site activities, preliminary site visits
- Client support
- Provide demonstrations, training, and presentations so that clients may discover and understand products
- Assist Director of Engineering in research and development of new products/services
- Participate in “relationship retention” CRM activities
- Sales team support
- Consult with sales team members and clients regarding appropriate technical solutions
- Work with team members to scope offerings and develop statements of work
- Develop proficiency with new technical solutions to be offered
- Provide support to clients and sales team members throughout the sales cycle
- Train the team in the uses, and pricing of products/services
- Engineering Team support
- Assist the Managed Services and Engineering teams with any high priority technical incidents and knowledge gaps
- Align with the Project Delivery team on any solutions scoped to ensure proper project delivery
- Train the Engineering teams on any new technical solutions and services being offered
What you will need
- Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and experience in engineering, information systems, or business administration
- 5+ years of industry experience, including two or more years in sales engineering or consulting
- Specialization in PC / Server/ Cloud/ SaaS technologies
- Have a solid understanding of Microsoft 365 Technologies and Services
- Have a solid understanding of Microsoft Azure (IaaS and Paas)
- Have a good understanding of Microsoft Security and Compliance technology capabilities
- Have a good understanding of modern device management through Microsoft technologies (Intune, Autopilot, and related)
