Pet Health Centre is looking for a Veterinary Receptionist and Animal Care Assistant to join our well-established, small animal practice in Tuam, Co. Galway.
We are looking for a friendly, highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join our small team on a full-time basis. This role would combine reception work, daily runnings of the business, along with helping take care of the animals in our care, as well as dog grooming (training provided). Our ideal candidate would enjoy dealing with the public, have strong communication skills, love being around pets and be a team player.

Main duties will include, but not limited to:
- General reception duties
- Client Management
- Managing patient files
- Diary coordination
- Other general administration tasks
- Taking care of pets pre and post care
- Assistance with Dog Grooming (training provided)

- Excellent client service skills
- Maintain a professional and caring approach in all aspects of work
- Strong ability to communicate effectively under pressure
- Motivated team-player, who would enjoy working with small animals in our care. (Experience working with small animals is not essential.)
Schedule:
Monday to Friday - 9am - 6pm (1 hour lunch break)
- Every second Saturday (10am - 4pm including 45 minute lunch break)

Hourly rate: From €13
The final salary will decided after interview will reflect the candidate's credentials accordingly
