About the job
Responsible for identifying business opportunities within the market and concluding direct sales of Alfa Laval products and services within a defined area of responsibility (e.g. geographical, group of customer, industry or product group etc.).
Key tasks:
  • Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval Product and
    services;
  • Analyze and understand market insights and the customers buying behaviour and make sales plans according to the business division strategy and targets, by working closely with experienced sales or sales team leader
  • Look for and manage leads from the market and customers, and convert them in real business opportunities in other to en sure the pipeline.
  • Be active in the market and focus on making visits, meetings and interactions to customers, focusing on customer needs understanding and highlighting the value of our products and services.
  • Runs the operation by managing the customer grid and proactive planning in our tools.
  • Develop value quotes reflecting the customer needs stressing the unique selling points and follow up.
  • Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decisions
  • Be active mentor of the Field Sales Engineer team in the sales process.
  • Work proactive and structured with the sales in order to optimize the sales efficiency.
What you know?
  • Bachelor’s degree from recognized university, engineering related field (chemicals, mechanicals or other related field)
  • 3 – 5 years experiences in sales / services sales / after sales in Industrial capital goods, preferably in the Food & Water industries.
  • Experience in Brewery systems or cooperated with distributor will be an added advantage.
  • Has developed impactful strategies in accordance with the business vision, with good market knowledge and networking. Demonstrated track record of over-achievement consistently.
  • Has worked in company with international setting and has established success within a matrix organization.
  • Own transportation with valid driving license, and willing to travel abroad and upcountry when required
  • Excellent English and Thai language both speaking and writing.
  • Strong sense of result oriented and self-motivation.
  • Willing to travel extensively to generate leads and grow business.
  • Willing to travel to Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos besides Thailand.
