Test Center Administrator (TCA) in Prometric centers leads the computer-based test center environment, plays a critical role in the protection of our clients’ intellectual property, and ensure the integrity of tests delivered in Prometric centers.
Test Center Administrator (TCA) represents Prometric in test centers around the world. The role includes verifying candidate identification, monitoring exams and maintain strict policies and guidelines to uphold the highest standards for exam integrity in the world.
Prometric Test Center Administrator (TCA) must be vigilant, disciplined, and diligent in his/her test delivery duties.

Test Center Administrator (TCA) in Prometric centers leads the computer-based test center environment, plays a critical role in the protection of our clients’ intellectual property, and ensure the integrity of tests delivered in Prometric centers.
Test Center Administrator (TCA) represents Prometric in test centers around the world. The role includes verifying candidate identification, monitoring exams and maintain strict policies and guidelines to uphold the highest standards for exam integrity in the world.
Prometric Test Center Administrator (TCA) must be vigilant, disciplined, and diligent in his/her test delivery duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• The Test Center Administrator (TCA) will mainly proctor computer-based test candidates. Duties include but are not limited to:
• Get test center ready for the day to deliver exams
- Operate computer software and other test center equipment
- Operate a video camera, DVR, digital camera, telephone system, and alarm system
- Provide security at the testing facility. Ensure all locks and security systems are properly used
- Operate the computers systems used to check-in examinees and deliver tests
- Interact professionally with test takers
- Check in candidates according to client specifications, escort them into testing area, and instruct examinees on use of computer
- Take required security precautions when candidate arrives for testing by checking two forms of identification, taking an image capture
- Perform biometric procedures, both during check-in & before and after breaks
- Launch exams and monitor candidates while they are taking their tests
- Sign candidates out of testing room when testing is complete, or for breaks
- End the exam; collect note boards, scratch paper and exhibits; printing score reports
- Deal with potential cheating situations
- Support in scheduling, cancelling, and rescheduling exams
- File daily reports. File unusual situations & center problem reports
- Communicate with Prometric’s Global Test Center Support to escalate technical and immediate issues
- Deliver Testing Accommodations exams
- Resolve problems & handle difficult situations, e.g., technical malfunction
- Receive candidate telephone calls and provide appointment confirmations and directions to the test center
- Responsible for passing audits
- Act as back up for Prometric Test Center Manager (TCM) during absence
- Other customer service, operational, administrative, or duties directed by Prometric Test Center Manager
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree of any discipline
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Preferred background: Customer Service/Support , Quality, Education,international examinations field
- Knowledge of basic PC operations and Windows. Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred
- Exposure to computer hardware and networks
- Arabic & English fluency is required
- Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
- Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations

TRAINING & CERTIFICATION
Every newly hired TCA must undergo a period of orientation. During that time, the new TCA will take Prometric’s online course as well as participate in on-the-job-training/observation. At the end, s/he must take and pass the certification exam in order to become a certified TCA
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The incumbent in this position will work in a professional office environment and will utilize the following equipment when working from the corporate office or remote home office (either on a full time, temporary, or hybrid basis)
