Your Role and Responsibilities
The Technology Lifecycle Services (TLS) Team is expanding its footprint in Switzerland and looking for an experienced Systems Availability Leader (SAL). As Systems Availability Leader you will act as single point of contact for shaping the service strategy of your clients supporting their environment. As part of your role you will
- Lead and coordinate a virtual team of Subject Matter Experts.
- Maintain client relationship for all aspects around the IT environment at your assigned clients.
- Identify and influence new business opportunities out of your discussion with technical stakeholders.
- Organise, prepare and lead the Client Steering Board for regular coordination and exchange of information.
- Coordination of regular health checks and project engagements.
- Coordinate internally with other functions and departments and organise regular information exchange meetings.
- Coordinate team members with the IBM TLS role.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Detailed knowledge of ITIL and IBM core platforms and adjacent technologies.
- High service orientation and consultancy mindset; the role requires establishing a strong network in your client up to C-Level.
- Experience working in a global service organisation and leading a virtual team of technical Subject Matter Experts.
- Fluent German and English language skills.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Working experience in a Service Delivery Manager or similar position.
- IBM Mainframe experience.
